The thermal park’s pools, surrounded by nature, were a lovely surprise. We spent a week here. The building is somewhat dated, but the rooms are clean, spacious, and simply furnished. There’s no air conditioning; with the mild weather and ceiling fan, though, we slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to meet guests’ needs. The food was another plus, tasty, simple home cooking. Pino, the all-purpose maître d', greeted us cheerfully and made us feel looked after. Recommended. We’ll be back!

This town means a lot to me, since I spent my childhood and teenage years here. The simple, old-fashioned feel took me back, almost as if time had stopped in that corner of the world. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the place is surrounded by nature just steps from the spa. A good spot for a quiet, authentic break away from everyday rush. We’ll definitely return ❤️ After 15 years, we came back to Guardia Piemontese and stayed at Hotel Santa Lucia for the first time. The welcome was warm, and the whole staff were very helpful whenever we asked for something. It felt like staying with family. Our room was very clean, and the linens were changed daily. Breakfast and meals are served at the modern hotel, a one-minute walk away. It would be easier and more comfortable to have breakfast here at this hotel. One little thing, a shower hose would be more convenient than a fixed shower.

The hotel is simple and unpretentious. My only big complaint is that there’s no air conditioning or mosquito nets. I happened to get three fairly cool evenings, so I slept very well. The location is nice and a bit quaint, and the staff are fantastic. They even noticed my booking price was too high, adjusted it, and gave me a substantial discount that included full board. Very honest of them. The restaurant is 200 meters from the Moderno hotel. Pino and Nella were wonderful with my four-and-a-half-year-old son, quick, efficient, and polite. The food was excellent, and service was fast and organized. With all due respect, the speed and efficiency almost made it feel like we weren’t in Calabria.
