B&B Villa Silvia

The room was so hot that we had to sleep with the French windows open, and there weren’t even portable fans. The price we paid was higher than the advertised one. It’s a villa in a residential area, but still a long way from amenities. Breakfast isn’t included, the bathroom is shared with other rooms, and there wasn’t a kettle, coffee maker, or any toiletries.

Our room was enormous, with a comfy bed and antique furniture that was clean and neat. The bathroom was roomy and clean too, and there was a lovely terrace looking out over the hills. The staff were discreet, warm, and helpful, just the right combination. I thought it was good value for the money. Recommended!

It’s quiet and the staff are available if you need anything. We were there on our own and enjoyed our stay, but the bathroom is shared between two rooms, so you can only shower when you’re in the room. I wouldn’t suggest a longer stay if you’re looking for somewhere to rest during a trip.

I stopped here at the end of July. Even though I was travelling alone, I had to share the bathroom. The showerhead was broken, there was no hot water, and I couldn’t reach the owner while I was already in the shower. It left me very disappointed. After I posted a review on Booking.com, I also got some unpleasant WhatsApp messages and was blocked. I’ve replied to them already. If other people’s opinions are a problem, maybe this isn’t the right career.
