The room was comfortable, and the hotel has kept many original details from when it opened in 1954, including wooden floors, doors, and marquetry. It’s well located, with a short walk to the hot springs and restaurants. There’s also a secure underground garage for €7, which was perfect for our motorcycles.

We could easily explore Acqui Terme from Hotel Ariston, right in the center. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely old-fashioned feel, and the staff were always around and really friendly. I’m still learning Italian, so I especially appreciated that they spoke English. Breakfast was included and had a much wider choice than I expected. We’d definitely book here again.

The Wi-Fi was on the slow side, and breakfast was just average, though there was plenty of it. What I liked most was the location: pretty much everything in AT is within walking distance. Our suite was spacious, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning.

Breakfast wasn't worth the money to me, so I'd skip it. They serve Nescafé, which I don't think is acceptable for a hotel in Italy. The location is great, but the rooms look dated, and we could hear the TV in the neighboring room.
