The family running Stefania's B&B La Lacia were so kind and thoughtful. Stefania even made gluten free bread and cakes for us. We also loved the rich breakfast and daily maid service, while having the convenience of an apartment. It was peaceful and green, and we slept with the window open to birdsong and church bells. The apartment has independent heating, which was lovely on rainy days, and a gas cooktop and oven for making dinner. Be ready for a steep hill on the way up. The nearest restaurants in Acqui Terme are about a 15 minute walk away, and the main restaurant area is closer to 25 minutes. There's parking outside the B&B at the top, so driving is always an option. We warmly recommend La Lacia and hope to return.

The warm welcome was a real highlight. This is a small, quiet, family run B&B about 20-25 minutes on foot from the center of Acqui Terme. Breakfast is generous, and they were very accommodating about dietary needs. WiFi was decent, though coverage was limited. The beds were soft, but the mattresses weren't top quality.
