At La Logia, eleven of us sat together at one big table on a busy Saturday night, 18th Sept. We were a mix of English and Italian, and the traditional restaurant atmosphere made for a great evening of conversation and laughter. The staff looked after us well and spoke good English, which spared our Italian friends from having to translate everything. All the food was delicious and rooted in local specialities. We loved it and hope to come back next time we're in Acqui. Thank you.

The room is beautiful, and the service was pleasant, though not exceptional. What we were served didn't match the way the food was listed, and I feel I was charged €20 for a small plate of mushrooms unfairly. I wouldn't return.

The food was really high quality, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It was one of our best dining experiences, and one of the restaurants in the area I'd most recommend.

Nine of us celebrated a big 21st birthday here in style. We sat in a sheltered, walled courtyard with vines overhead. The menu is short, but the quality is stellar. Try the “fassana,” traditional Piedmontese beef, either as tartare, cooked, or in a “white” ragout with green pasta and no tomato. The slow-cooked veal cheek was melt-in-the-mouth, and the baccala in breadcrumbs was the poshest fish finger ever. Dessert included chocolate ice cream and pistachio semifredo. Service was very friendly from a half-SouthAfrican waitress, while the maitre d played piano in the background. We ate very well, with no wine, for €291.
