The villa sits in a quiet, authentic village up in the hills, away from the crowds, with lovely views down to the coast and good, affordable restaurants nearby. Driving down to Amalfi takes about 30 minutes. We had a fantastic time, and the hosts were so kind and attentive. They know the area well and gave us great recommendations. Breakfast was made with so much care, this place deserves a sixth star!

Lucia and Pietro put so much care into every detail, and the breakfast was unlike any we've had: tasty, beautifully prepared, and full of heart. At Al Chiaro di Luna, we felt surrounded by warmth and hospitality. Its location in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, close to lots of wonderful restaurants, was perfect. This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our holiday. We're grateful for the welcome and will definitely return. Highly, highly recommended! 🙏🏻❤️

The owner is also the host, and that makes all the difference to the warm, high-standard service. Take their advice to try the local restaurants. Thank you so much, this was one of the best places I've stayed in the Napoli region.

Breakfast was a treat each morning, fresh, plentiful, and beautifully presented, with pastries, fruit, rich coffee, and local specialties. Villa Al Chiaro di Luna welcomed us with genuine warmth, and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, mixing classic charm with modern amenities. The hosts were kind and thoughtful, sharing great recommendations and making us feel like cherished guests. If you're coming to Positano, this is the place to stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We left with wonderful memories and hope to return.

Even though my wife Angela and I came from Canada, Pietro, Lucia, and their daughter made us feel at home during our three nights here on a three-week tour of Italy, two years ago. We shared wine with Pietro and his daughter and learned about each other's cultures. The breakfast each day was excellent, and our rooms were made spotless every morning.
