Donna Sofi Holiday House

We booked a wine tour with a four-course meal and a boat trip to Capri through the hotel, and both experiences exceeded expectations. The staff were extremely attentive even before we arrived. Every morning, the mountain view from the balcony was breathtaking, especially with a morning espresso and birds chirping. The hotel is at the top of Agerola, but there’s a bus stop down the road that runs every 30 minutes to Amalfi and other areas of Italy. It’s very good value if you’re fine with driving or taking the bus into Amalfi. I’d stay here again!

The room was spacious and very clean, and the cleaning lady did her best every day. I wasn’t keen on the breakfast being described as included when it was just supermarket croissants and muffins left in a shared kitchen. The room’s only window was right above the bed, so the morning sun came straight in my face. At least it didn’t rain. The Wi-Fi wasn’t really working in the room.

A quiet, peaceful spot, close to bus stations for San Lazzaro, Bomerano, Castellammare and Amalfi. We had no issues with the host, and Salvatore was actually very friendly and helpful.

10/10 stars! This lovely, clean, newly renovated holiday house feels like home. Salvatore, the friendly owner, takes time to suggest great bars and restaurants and share information about activities in the area. I’d love to come back!
