Dinner was really tasty and high quality, and the rooms were spotless. The team clearly looks after the place, and we felt at home right away. It’s a small, family-run hotel in Bomerano, in a quiet, pleasant spot away from the tourist crowds. A good choice for taking in the area at an easy pace. Breakfast could have had a bit more variety, and the service seemed a little unmotivated now and then. Still, the good points mattered much more. It’s especially suited to hikers and anyone who’d rather stay outside busy places like Amalfi or Sorrento. I’d love to come back.

Mario gave us a warm welcome and was really helpful, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. Breakfast was included and great. The bus stop is right outside, with a ride to Amalfi taking about 30 minutes, and the Path of the Gods hike starts right beside the hotel and leads to Positano. Highly recommend!

My mother and I stayed here for day trips along the Amalfi Coast. It’s well placed for local life and food, with the village’s independent shops and terrace restaurants and cafés nearby. Several buses run each day to the main tourist spots and beaches, and some of the region’s best hikes, including the Path of the Gods, start close by. The food was the highlight for us. Dinner is included with the pension, and I’d highly recommend it: full Italian meals made that day with fresh local ingredients, delicious and satisfying. The only downside was the noise at night, though after a long hike and a good meal, you forget about it.

You’re close to lots of hiking trails, and the place is very clean and well kept. The staff are all part of the family, and they’re warm, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast and supper are generous. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Hotel Gentile is clean, quiet, and safe, right by the entrance to the Path of the Gods. Mario, the owner, goes out of his way to make guests feel like familia. We’re so glad we met him. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed!
