Alessandro deserves a special mention for all the tips and directions on places to visit and their opening times. The rooms are beautiful, and the attention and service were spectacular. It's right in the center of Agrigento, and I think it's the best place to stay there.

The owner was really hospitable and nice, and I had a relaxed stay. It's quite fancy inside, with a perfect location near both car parking and the city center.

There’s a fridge in the room with cold drinks at reasonable prices, and the town and its people were lovely. The stay itself was a mess, though. It was advertised as a hotel, but there was no front desk or staff on site. I called the number on the door and was told someone would arrive in two minutes. After waiting by the curb for 20 minutes, two people showed up with a key. They said payment had been received, then asked for €2 per person in cash for city tax. A nice man from Finanza Police I met in town said it was €1 per person and didn’t need to be paid in cash, so I guess there was a mistake. When I returned from dinner at 9:40 pm, the BnB door was locked. Neither of the two numbers I called answered. I knocked for 20 minutes before a resident opened the door. Then the room was at 32 degrees. An employee eventually came and spent half an hour trying the remote for the A/C, but the temperature only dropped to 30. It was a horrible experience.

This B&B has just been renovated and is in a great spot. A charming woman runs it, and everything was handled smoothly. Highly recommend.
