A very good place with a great host. The main drawback was having to share the bathroom with someone who wasn't supposed to be in the flat. The shower also felt a bit dated.

The room was clean and decent, and the kitchen had a moderate amount of equipment. The place is too far from the center.

Never again. We arrived on March 8, 2023, and left the morning of the 13th. We were there for work, and there were three adults, including my 36-year-old disabled son. Mr. Cesare was very kind when we arrived, and we paid the bill right away. The toilet flush button was jammed from the start. It worked immediately, but the plumber couldn't come until the next afternoon, so a bucket of water had to be used. I tried to be patient and went to work. When I got back, the kitchen ceiling had collapsed. It was 10 p.m., so the debris stayed there until the next day. He had the ceiling cleaned, but didn't secure it. The following night I returned from work at 11 p.m. to find no water. There was no shower, and the toilet stayed dirty all night. The next day he fixed it, apologizing that workers had forgotten to close some valves. But when I got back around 11 p.m., the flush was stuck again. I sent messages, but he acted as if he didn't receive them and disconnected the phone. He fixed it the next afternoon, but when I returned there was no water again. Until the morning we left, I was throwing water with a bucket, and it still didn't work. I'd already paid, but he wouldn't refund me. I was there for work at the Almond Blossom Festival, so I couldn't find any available places. Before leaving that morning, I called from another number. He didn't answer the number he had, but did answer that one. He wouldn't even offer a discount for all the inconvenience. He said there was no money back, but if I wanted to return, he'd give me a night. The building is dilapidated and the house was dirty. The owner seemed courteous, but only on the surface. The Wi-Fi didn't exist. I don't recommend it to anyone. I felt a review was necessary out of respect for future guests. I can't post photos of the mess. The host was super friendly, though he only speaks Italian. Google Translate made communication easy anyway. The rooms are small but very nice, and the kitchen is well equipped. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant. I'd happily stay again.
