B&B Donna Teresa

Our room was exactly as shown in the listing, neat and very clean, with plenty of space and a terrace. The place mixes modern design with the classic architecture of the region. We shared a kitchen, and Signora Viviana prepared a lovely Italian breakfast with cornetto, fresh fruit, coffee, and other good things. The apartment is near both the historic center and the valley of temples. There’s free street parking if you come by car. The owners are really kind and care a lot about their guests.

It’s about a 7-8 minute walk to the start of Via Etna. The neighborhood looked run down and dirty, so at first we were nervous about walking into town, though it turned out fine. There’s no reception, so we kept in touch with the host through WhatsApp. The owners were responsive and ready to help with whatever we needed. The room was clean and modern, and while the bathroom was on the small side, the shower was a good size. The air conditioner was oddly placed and only cooled one side of the room. Like most places we stayed in Sicily, it felt weak and couldn’t get the room below 24 degrees, so I used a personal fan.

Totò and Viviana have welcomed my family and me several times, and we’ve always had a great stay. The breakfast is a lovely start to the day, and parking has never been a problem. They’re always glad to suggest places to see. It’s a great base for central Agrigento and the many tourist attractions around the region. See you again soon.

Toto was friendly, helpful, and explained everything clearly. The accommodation was to a very good standard, though the toilet seat was loose. The location worked well for us since we had a car. I can imagine this place being great in summer.
