B&B Home Visit

A great location, a lovely spot, and an amazing host.

The bakery a few steps away had amazing bread and pastries, and the restaurants Vanessa and Danilo suggested were very helpful choices. They were kind, discreet hosts who clearly love their city. The B&B itself has a charming little terrace with a breathtaking view of the bell tower of the Church of San Domenico. It’s in the city center, but the area is very quiet. I was pleasantly surprised by Agrigento. I’d expected to just see the Valley of the Temples, then found a city full of culture, history, art, and architecture. Two days didn’t feel like enough, and I’ll definitely come back to this charming B&B. By chance I heard about the combined ticket that will be launched soon: it will cover the Valley of the Temples and the city’s main architectural attractions, with an electric minibus included in the three-day ticket. I had the impression that food is good all over the city. Agrigento really is the Capital of Culture 2025, you can feel the scent of culture throughout. A wonderful experience.

The beds were comfortable, and there’s even a kitchenette in the common area. The property is just behind the Town Hall and five minutes from the Cathedral, a very handy location. Everything was clean and looked after, with excellent attention to detail throughout. What stood out most was how kind and helpful the owners were, always paying attention to what guests needed. I’d definitely come back. A well-deserved five stars!

We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a better place. We needed somewhere near the theater with two bedrooms for two couples. Each room had its own bathroom, plus there was a comfortable shared area. The location was excellent, everything was very clean and smelled nice, and the girl who hosted us was so helpful and made everything easy. Best wishes, Angela and Noemi.
