Kolymbetra Bed and Breakfast

The owner was attentive, and breakfast was good. The room was clean and pleasant. A good choice.

We were walking distance from the train station, and the location was perfect. The B&B was very clean, with a lovely breakfast and good value for money. The owners were friendly and helpful. My friend and I got lost while visiting Valle Dei Templi, so we called the B&B and they kindly drove us back. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were courteous and pleasant. It’s in the historic center, just five minutes from the train station. A nice place.

I booked three nights for May. My partner, who’s from Sicily, phoned the owner and was told the booking was all set, no advance payment was needed, and we didn’t need to send an email to confirm. I emailed anyway but got no reply. When my partner called again 15 days before the stay, the owner again said everything was fine. On 10/08/2019, I arrived at the B&B to find that he’d given our room to someone else. He told me, in what felt like an almost intimidating Sicilian manner, that I could leave and it was no longer his problem. I was left without accommodation and had to book another hotel, with help from a guy working at kolimbetra, who felt sorry about what the owner had done. I’d give zero feedback if I could. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this B&B.
