The open pool facing the Agrigento landscape, with the sea behind it, was the standout for us. It made for such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were warm, friendly, and always ready to help, while the property was clean and well maintained and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast, with plenty of sweet and savory options, and the restaurant, which served delicious food in a homemade style with generous portions. A small arrival tip: the route to Montemare is clearly signposted, so follow the signs instead of Google Maps. We had a wonderful couple of days and would happily recommend it.

The narrow streets confused the navigation a bit, so getting there took some effort. It was well worth it, though. B&B Montemare has stunning views, spotless rooms, and a great pool. The hosts were very kind, and the food was fantastic, from dinner at their restaurant to the generous homemade breakfast. Highly recommended, don’t let the search put you off, the destination is worth the effort.

Our group of 14, ranging in age from 1 to 72, had such a fun stay. We were first-time visitors to Sicily and arrived tired and hungry in the afternoon. The kitchen wasn’t going to open for a few hours, but the staff made us a big plate of sandwiches, which saved us from a lot of meltdowns. They were so welcoming and patient with us. The rooms and pool were very clean, the food was delicious, and the views were incredible. A big thank you to Michele, Aziz, Moez, Montesar, Mohamed, and Enea for making our stay so memorable.

We stopped at this hotel for a short trip to mark our 38th wedding anniversary, and had a very pleasant stay. The air was fresh and the views were fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a pool area. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything needed. Breakfast offered both sweet and savory choices for different tastes. Lunch was excellent and plentiful, and we enjoyed dinner too. Great value for money.
