Calogero was very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and even booked us a great boat trip to Scali dei Turki. The room is in the heart of old Agrigento, though it's on the small side. There was a single bed in there that worked well for putting our suitcases on. Parking is only available on the road above, so you have to walk down. Bring small luggage.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with mobility problems. Getting there means taking a steep, winding road to the parking lot in front of the Cathedral, since finding a space in the lot near the B&B is almost impossible. There are stairs inside the property as well. The neighborhood has no bars, restaurants, grocery shops, or other amenities, which is even more of a problem because breakfast isn't served.

Marco and Calogero were incredibly kind and attentive, helping us with transport, directions to beaches and sights, and even a ride to a car rental company they knew. We got a car there for three days at a very fair price. They also left water, fruit juice, snacks, and other things for breakfast. The rooms were super clean and cozy, with a small kitchen set up for cooking and breakfast. Its spot near Agrigento Cathedral works well for visiting the city and the Valley of the Temples. Highly recommended, and worth considering for another Sicily trip. Thanks for everything.

The new apartment has a roomy shower and is a good base for visiting the temples, just a few minutes away by car. I highly recommend it, but be aware that you can only reach it on foot by climbing a series of steps.
