The property is equipped with all modern comforts including an outdoor swimming pool overlooking Temples with a swim-up bar, a gym, a panoramic SPA and a panoramic restaurant, the Ambrosia, where the chef uses organic and local products from hotel farm and the aromatic herbs of the garden.
Doric Bed Hotel is eco-friendly: the hotel uses photovoltaic and thermal energy and give water a new life through a phytodepuration system.
At the hotel
The hotel has 25 rooms, all of them overlooking the temple of Juno. The flagship are the 5 Villa suites with a view of the temple and private heated pool and the Villa suite with Jacuzzi located in its terrace, also overlooking the Valley of the Temples. The hotel also has 10 Superior rooms with a private pool overlooking the Valley of the Temples.

We only stopped by to ask about the spa and wellness facilities, but Salvatore immediately made us feel welcome. He arranged massages and lunch, offered us a refreshing iced drink, then showed us the gardens and rooms, explaining the flowers, wildlife, and what they grow and use at the hotel. The views from the restaurant and rooms are breathtaking. Lunch was delicious, the staff were extremely attentive, and Emanuella gave us amazing massages. The spa area is so relaxing. The hotel seemed spotlessly clean, with amazing staff, and we’ll definitely return to stay.

The food at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Sicily, and the owner and staff were so accommodating and gave us exceptional service. Our room was spotless, with a breathtaking view, and the service was first class from arrival to departure. We had an unforgettable stay at the Doric, a true five-star boutique hotel. We were fascinated to hear about their pilot wine production, another sign of their passion for a local, distinctive experience. They grow their own olives for high-quality oil, and use some of their homegrown fruit to make a delicious house liquor. We recommend trying it, and taking a bottle home! The Valley of the Temples looked awesome from both the hotel and our room. The modern, elegant architecture fits beautifully with the natural surroundings. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth, attentive service, and a real eye for detail. Their customer-focused approach sets the hotel apart. The beautifully designed rooms and exquisite dining options made for a memorable stay.

The restaurant's buffet breakfast had delicious croissants, pastries, fruit juice, eggs, pancakes, and omelets. Lunch and dinner were good, though not fantastic, and the cocktails weren't great overall. The jacuzzi in the middle of the room wasn't very practical, either. Still, this is one of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed at, with spectacular grounds, luxurious rooms, and amazing Valley of the Temples views from every room and the infinity pool. It's close to the valley, but getting to the town center takes a taxi, about 20 euros. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it.

The restaurant is on the fancier, higher end, if that's your thing, and the pools and grounds are outstanding. We only had a day here after stopping at the temples, but it felt like pure luxury, with friendly staff at every turn and amazing views. It's a short cab ride into town for families who like to walk and explore.
