Grand Hotel Mosè

The pool area is a real plus, with lots of room to relax or sunbathe, and the hotel has interesting interior patios where you can sit. Still, parts of the hotel look old-fashioned and a little tired. The breakfast room and restaurant are large, but the hot and savory choices at breakfast were limited, and the bacon was undercooked. The croissants were amazing, especially the chocolate ones, but they ran out early, so get down with plenty of time. The bar didn't feel very inviting with its wedding-style chairs, though hotel prices were reasonable. It seems like the hotel could bring in more money with a younger feel and some updating. A better-promoted pool bar, a relaxed rooftop lounge, or maybe some entertainment could help.

We only spent one night, and it was quiet and comfortable. The mattress was adequate, and there were extra pillows in the closet. Our sink drain wasn't working, but they responded right away when we reported it and repaired it. The rooms were clean, the small bath worked fine, and there was plenty of towel space, though a few more hooks would be useful. Soap and towels were provided, and the AC worked well. Hot water stayed plentiful and at an even temperature. Breakfast had a nice spread, but the coffee machines could be spaced out better to avoid a crowd. There's an elevator as well as stairs, and plenty of seating in the lobby. The theme is based on a local landmark, and there's a grocery store close by. No frills, but comfortable for the price. We'd stay again.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the hotel was clean, organized, and well situated. We really enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

The room was very nice and clean, the pool was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The downsides were the very weak shower pressure and WiFi that frustratingly didn't work at all.
