La Porta dei venti

The location made getting around simple, with the Duomo close by in the upper historic center and an easy route down to the lower part. Rosa and Franco knew the neighborhood and local community well, and even helped us find a place to park near the house. They were both incredibly helpful hosts. Rosa was thoughtful and practical, and made us feel welcome from the start. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, including cozy pillows and blankets and a well-equipped kitchen. We truly felt at home and recommend staying here. Thanks so much!

We could really feel the energy and enthusiasm of the Sicilians during our stay at Gate of the Winds. Rosa was friendly and did her best to help, sharing lots of information and even letting me check in early, which was very considerate. The house was clean, neat, and cozy, with a special design that made it feel like home. It’s also very close to the main street. I visited Rosa’s other property, Terra Alta, too, and liked it. If I return to Agrigento, I’ll definitely stay at Terra Alta. Highly recommend!

We felt at home the moment we arrived. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was honestly the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. It’s beautifully decorated, too. Only a few steps from the accommodation, there are lovely countryside views and the temples lit up at night. The Door on High Grounds was beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped, with a modern feel that still kept its authentic character. I also got to look inside La Porta dei Venti, in the same lovely location, and its interior had its own distinctive elegance.
