The location was very good, but we found a roach in the bathroom and the air conditioning in our room wasn't working. Breakfast was the meagrest we had in Sicily, and just bad. My partner and I changed hotels after a single night. I'm surprised this place gets such a positive rating.

The entrance looks pretty unappealing, but the rooms and views are amazing. Get a room with a view, it's absolutely worth it.

Room 7 had a nice view of the temples and a freestanding tub in the bedroom. The location is handy for visiting the Valley of the Temples, and the mattress was comfortable. That was about all we liked. The service left a lot to be desired. When we were shown in, the main lamp was flickering, and the woman showing us the room ignored it. The toilet hadn't been cleaned properly and there was mould in the shower. Breakfast was edible but very basic: yoghurt, croissants, dry bread, one kind of cheese and meat, and a bowl of fruit. After people finished, dirty plates stayed on the tables while the woman in charge looked at her phone instead of clearing them. There were no do-not-disturb signs either. Cleaning staff tried to come into our room while we were naked after using the tub. Fortunately, I had left the key in the lock, so they couldn't get in. A few moments later they knocked and asked us to leave the room so they could clean. It was a really strange experience. We didn't feel welcome, more like tourists being milked for our desire to see the Valley of the Temples.

The building and neighborhood aren't especially interesting, so I’d choose this place for a one-night stop to see the temples rather than for a longer visit to Agrigento. The location is convenient for the Valley of the Temples, and the view of the Concordia Temple is great. Rooms are quite large and newly refurbished; breakfast is basic.
