The location is the main plus, especially for the nearby temples and La Scala dei Turchi. The facilities were simple but acceptable, and the small room was generally clean. The shower was just too cramped for anyone over 1.7m, though that alone wasn't a dealbreaker. The problem was how the person in charge handled things. We waited more than half an hour after arriving for basic instructions to get inside, even though the keys were in a key box. I can't see why that quick information took so long. Breakfast was unacceptable to me. We asked twice if it could be served earlier, but the manager stuck to his routine, which didn't start before 8.30. The next morning he didn't show up until 8.50, carrying breakfast items in a Lidl bag, and the dishes from the previous day were still there. The kitchen hadn't been tidied either. We got Lidl croissants, juice and bread, plus cheese and the cheapest ham. It was disappointing, especially when the local bakery sells great panini and pastries, and there's a deli for ham. We asked again about having breakfast a little earlier the following day, and he refused. Lidl only opens at 8. :-( For me, this B&B wasn't good value for money.

Giuseppe, the manager, was kind, approachable, and genuinely helpful, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was generous and very good. The spot is handy for both the Valley of the Temples and the sea, with the closest beach a five-minute walk away. It's a classic B&B with four rooms. My triple room was rather small but comfortable and functional, and I thought the price was fair.

We had a comfortable, clean room and a plentiful, very good breakfast included. The owner was kind and always willing to accommodate our requests. Most of the area's tourist attractions are close by, thanks to the strategic location. We had an excellent stay and will definitely return!

The B&B felt neglected and badly managed. When we arrived, the breakfast room was already messy and dirty, and dust seemed to be everywhere, as if it hadn't been cleaned in at least two months. The back entrance gave the same impression: cleanliness and order don't seem to be the owner's strong points. The linens were a problem too. I pulled about 11 hairs off my pillows and sheets, and found more on the desk by the headboard and stuck to things in the bathroom. Other couples in separate rooms were also questioning how clean their textiles were. I asked for a kettle and was left with one with a broken plug. The house has a lot of potential, but it was a terrible experience and I absolutely wouldn't repeat it.
