Carlo really adds to the stay. He brings warm croissants fresh from the oven each morning, and if you feel like talking, he has endless stories and tips about Sicily, from quieter places to visit to good local restaurants and the true stories of this remarkable land. Listening to him is a pleasure. The cottages are separate, each with its own entrance and little patio for breakfast or an evening rest. They’re simple, welcoming, and carefully looked after, and there’s convenient parking. The B&B sits among nature, with Mediterranean scents and birdsong, so it’s a lovely, peaceful break from the bustle. A little paradise in the Sicilian countryside, and a great fit for anyone looking for an authentic stay close to nature and away from the usual tourist routes.

Carlo was really kind and helpful, even carrying my luggage up to the room. I’m not used to that, but I appreciated it. He showed me around the whole place, which is more like a home: living room, kitchenette, bathroom with a comfortable shower, big air-conditioned bedroom, and a small terrace outside with a table and chairs. It had everything I could want. Parking is inside a fenced garden with a gate. For breakfast, he asked what time suited me and brought fresh croissants from a great pastry shop, plus more. I stayed just one night for work and left completely satisfied. Thanks again, Carlo.

We were so pleased that we came back after 3 days. The owner is polite, very friendly, and always available, and the rooms are clean, beautifully furnished, and comfortable. Guapo the horse, the B&B’s mascot, is lovely company. The place is close to amenities and the archaeological area, and just minutes from Scala dei Turchi, so it’s great if you want to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and we had a dream seafood dinner made with fresh, quality local ingredients.

The setting is stunning, just a short walk from the Valley of the Temples, and the property was clean and welcoming. I stayed just before the Ferragosto holiday, an unusual time of year, but the host was warm, attentive, and always there when I needed something. Highly recommended.
