We'd love to come back to Agropoli and stay here again. Hotel La Caravella is charming and in a quiet spot, just steps from a beach and a short walk into town. Our room had panoramic views of the bay, and breakfast was included in the price. There was a pleasant selection of cereal, pastries, yogurt, and more, plus a barista to make your coffee. The staff made our visit much more enjoyable by going above and beyond, especially Franco, Valentina and Bruno. You guys are great! We'll recommend this place to family and friends.

The staff went out of their way to help with our needs, and the room was spotless. We also got our best night's sleep in Italy here, thanks to fantastic air conditioning. We stumbled on this little gem by accident, and the balcony views are amazing. The staff are extremely friendly. It's a five-minute walk to the city centre, bars, restaurants and cafes, and the beach is also five minutes away. The swimming pool is beautiful and quiet, and there's free parking outside.

We arrived on 27 August 2025 and found the hotel shut, with a non-functioning pool. As the previous review had said it had stopped trading, we were lucky to find a lovely B&B in town called Anna Pizzeria and rooms. Now we have to pursue compensation from booking.com, which had taken full payment weeks earlier despite knowing the hotel was closed. We were really upset with them.

Bruno e Francesco made us feel welcome and were always up for a chat or a laugh. They shared plenty of helpful tips about the city, the seaside, and good places to eat. The center is only a few steps away, with shops, bars, and the historic area all easy to reach on foot. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it.

Our reservation was cancelled just two hours before we arrived, so we had to urgently find somewhere else to stay while on the train to Agropoli. The hotel is closed. Booking.com was no help at all while we tried to sort this out.
