The room’s baroque details were stunning, and it felt like great value. The house itself is fascinating, set among gorgeous grounds with huge gardens.

Gerardo, the owner, was so welcoming and full of local knowledge. He can suggest plenty of places to visit while you’re there. Avellino is only a few minutes away, so I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. We spent three nights at this enchanting place. The garden felt straight out of a fairytale, and all the furnishings and little details carried us back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. My girlfriend picked the stay and said she felt just like a Bridgerton character.

The owners were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Wandering around the gardens was a treat for the senses, and inside, every corner seemed to have its own story from the past. The Podere has been renovated with great care and sits in a beautifully maintained landscape. A fresh, relaxing experience, highly recommended!
