We were hungry and keen to eat, so it was disappointing to arrive and find the kitchen closed. The bar was open, but both the roadside sign and the online listing said the kitchen was open. Staff were only mildly apologetic. Please don't advertise the kitchen as open when it isn't.

It's quite out of the way, but the meal made the trip worthwhile. We had grilled steak and bigoli with monte veronese cheese and sausage, and everything was wonderful. A lovely place for dinner.

The area is amazingly lovely and very quiet. The accommodation is lovely, the food is great, and the staff are excellent. It's also been recently refurbished.
