Apartment Serena

We paid €970 for four nights and ended up leaving the apartment to avoid going to hospital. We lost our only four days of vacation there. The toilet seat was yellow as well as dirty, and the bathroom had no fan. Its small high window opened onto the landing in front of the elevator, so that was where the air exchange happened. Shameful. The place was filthy. After 15 minutes inside, I had an asthma attack, thankfully brought under control with medication. The owner allegedly sent someone to clean again, although they'd already come at 11:00 AM. The cleaner said she couldn't remove the dust from the headboard or under the bed because it was too heavy to move, or from other parts of the house. According to her, the vacuum cleaner is only cleaned once a year in November. All three air conditioning split units were coated in dust. One had a visible leak and a stain on the wall. Turning them on caused dangerous breathing difficulties for me and also made breathing difficult for the 16-year-old boy with us, who is mildly allergic to dust. I told the owner right away. Even with the photos, they didn't apologize and kept playing down a serious problem that could have left me hospitalized. €970 for four nights is absurd for such a dirty apartment.
