Luigi, his wife Masha, and their adorable dog Dushka welcome you like family at this charming family-run summer villa. Villa Murchio feels like stepping back in time, with a beautiful garden and lush greenery. They offer a classic bed and breakfast, with no TV, but who needs one on holiday when the beach is five minutes away? Breakfast is top, especially Graziella's homemade fruit marmalade, made with fruit picked from their garden.

A great host, a great location, and a great place to stay. Plus, a fantastic Newfoundlander!

Luigi, the manager, was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He explained how the B&B works, shared information about the area and beach amenities, and there was even the option to use bicycles. My partner and I had a wonderful stay and absolutely recommend B&B Costa Lupara. It's a real gem, and we hope we can come back. The small villa is charming, with a garden, and private parking is available. It's a 10-minute walk from the sea, but the setting somehow doesn't feel like Alassio, which makes it unique. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a refrigerator and drinks already chilled for us. The bathroom next to the room is small but has everything needed. Breakfast is served buffet-style in the garden, with quality products.

We were glad we chose to stay for the San Giovanni long weekend, when it wasn't too hot yet and we could enjoy the greenery around us. The villa has a wonderful garden for a morning coffee, and the rooms are stylish and, above all, clean. The owner was welcoming, and the place is quiet and close to the beach. I highly recommend the experience.

The villa is charming and the setting is lovely, which is why I’m giving it two stars. The details let it down: breakfast tablecloths and cups were dirty, and we had to ask several times for clean cups. The bed and pillow felt just as dated as the villa, and I’ve never slept on a pillow that uncomfortable. There was also a dog smell throughout the house, strong enough that I held my nose walking between rooms. The owner talked a lot but did little. For the asking price, I don’t think it’s worth it.
