Grand Hotel Alassio Beach & Spa Resort - The Leading Hotels of the World

A friend who works in the hotel business recommended this place, and we were pleased with the stay. Alex, who I believe is the head concierge, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We weren’t sure where to go or park, but he gave my husband clear directions and told me to relax and enjoy the start of our vacation. He was friendly, attentive, always smiling, and ready to help. His restaurant suggestions were good, and the other staff we met were great too. A creaking door was fixed by the time we came back, and an issue with the hotel pool had been sorted by my next visit. We also had the same beach chairs reserved for us throughout the stay, which made it easy for my husband and me to meet up when we went at different times. The hotel is a short walk from everything we wanted to see, and our room had a lovely beach view. It was a fabulous way to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. Definitely recommend.

Monica made breakfast easy for our tennis group every morning, looking after us with real warmth and bringing our coffee with such care. She was just as kind and attentive when she served us at lunch. She’s a truly lovely person, inside and out, and deserves recognition. Her positive energy and special care made a lasting impression on us. The hotel is lucky to have her, and should be proud of her.

The staff were courteous and friendly, and concierge Alex was especially helpful with recommendations and restaurant bookings. We had incredible food, including one dinner on the beach, and made the most of the easy beach access every day. The Grand Hotel Alassio is beautiful and perfectly located. My family had such a fun stay that we want to come back next year. We love Alassio, and especially the Grand Hotel!

The waterfront location is excellent and not too crowded, and we’d happily recommend a stay here to friends. The service really stood out: the valet was kind and helpful, even walking ahead of our car so we could make the right turn on the way out. The front desk staff were welcoming, helpful, and clearly proud of the hotel. On a busy Saturday night, the assistant manager went to a lot of trouble calling several restaurants to find us a dinner reservation. The bar staff were skilled and kind too. Even the slippers were awesome!
