Holiday Rooms La Campagnetta

The walls are very thin, so we were woken at 7:30 am by the noise of the woman getting breakfast ready. The bed was old and uncomfortable, and creaked every time I moved. Too expensive for what it is.

The rooms and kitchen seem pretty modern, but it was hard to communicate because the owners don’t speak English. Checkout was chaotic, the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our upstairs room, and we had lots of ants in there. Breakfast was just store-bought sweet things, with nothing vegan, and the coffee was rationed to one small cup. Too expensive for that level of service.

The staff were very helpful, which would have earned a higher service rating, but breakfast was a letdown. Almost everything was packaged, and it was the same each morning. We were on a hill outside the center, though the walk into town was only 15 minutes. Our room had a terrace with a great view, and indoor parking was a big plus.

There are just three rooms, and all are very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center and beaches, and parking is free. The downside was room 1 on the ground floor. It’s next to the kitchen and breakfast room, so you can hear the woman preparing food in the morning.
