The restaurant setting is nice and the service there is really friendly, but the classic food was disappointing: no herbs, salt or pepper, and the chef seemed to have lost his love of cooking. Breakfast was poor and needs an upgrade. The hotel is nearly a four-star place, though the restaurant and especially breakfast pull the rating down. It’s a three-star hotel in a fantastic location, run by two genuinely friendly siblings. My room was old, small and charming, with a perfect view when facing the sea. Service overall was excellent and super friendly.

Lunch came out very quickly, and the food was delicious and good value. We sat outside behind the sea wall, high enough to see over it, and the toilets were smart and very clean. Great food and exceptional, rapid service. I don’t usually give out five stars, but this place deserves it.

It’s a quiet spot by the beach, away from the city noise, with no cars or anything much going on. We ate plenty of good food here for a reasonable price, and the people looking after us were gentle and kept checking whether we needed anything. I had a really nice week this summer and would happily recommend the place. I’ll come back next year. Thanks so much for the holiday :)
