Alassio is right outside the door, and most of the town’s hotels, restaurants and beaches are within walking distance. The room was nice and the AC worked strongly. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Guests can also reserve the hot tub and sauna. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was good, and the breakfast staff were brilliant. The location is great too. The rest felt pretty mediocre, though. My partner works a lot, so we always book a suite with separate bedroom and living areas, and I’m used to staying in four- or five-star hotels. This suite had only one bathroom, whereas most suites I’ve used have two. It also came with just one towel per person. If you shower twice a day, you have to reuse your towel or pay extra for another one. I’d expect that at an easyJet hotel, not a four-star place. The checkout was awful. We asked for a late checkout the night before and were told it was fine. At 11:30, half an hour after the 11 o’clock checkout time, someone called and told me to leave immediately. I explained that I’d arranged a later checkout, and the person called me a LIAR and told me to leave right then. My partner and I were completely offended. We travel at least ten times a year and have never had anything like that happen. Alassio is beautiful and we’ll come back, but never to this hotel.

The sheets smelled, the place was dirty, and the carpets were old. The bathrooms looked like they belonged in a 1970s space movie.
