The worst part was the heat and the condition of the room. On a warm summer day it stayed above 27°C, with no air conditioning, just an old ceiling fan. The room looked like it hadn't been updated in 35 years. I was travelling with my two-year-old and my pregnant partner, and we couldn't have managed a whole week there. After one night we left and paid the cancellation fee for the remaining three nights. For that price, there are much better options nearby. The location is convenient, but it's overcrowded and offers no peace or quiet. We moved to a comfortable hotel with decent furniture, good cleaning, and a cooler room. If you're sensitive to temperature and cleanliness, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The waitress was kind and attentive, but the food was returned almost every day. This was the worst place I've eaten.

Dinner was decent, with a Ligurian dish now and then, and the staff were cheerful and friendly. The breakfast buffet, though, was very basic. The hotel looks lovely from outside and is centrally located, but the rooms inside are old and run down. My toilet wouldn't flush, the bowl was stained, the soap dish was crusty, and there was no air conditioning. I don't think it deserves three stars, especially at that price.
