Hotel San Nicola

We spent a weekend here as a family, two adults and one child. It was a beautiful, clean, welcoming place, and I really enjoyed the included buffet breakfast. If you're coming this way, don't hesitate to book. I'll definitely return in the future.

We felt truly at home here, thanks to the welcoming family who runs the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of excellent homemade products. It was our first time discovering Alassio, and we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and very functional, though not huge, and had a lovely terrace overlooking the large free parking lot, a real plus that shouldn't be taken for granted. I think I'd definitely return.

We were at Hotel San Nicola in Alassio for five nights, and we'd definitely come back. Breakfast was fantastic. They kept everything available until service ended, and even made fresh scrambled or fried eggs when asked. We also had lunch at the hotel once: lasagna that wasn't the typical kind you find in Germany but was still very tasty, plus two Caprese salads with tomato and mozzarella. The vegetables came from their own garden, and even the olive oil came from their own grove. It was delicious. The family running the hotel was incredibly kind and accommodating. Whenever we had a question or needed something, everyone was friendly and did their best to help. The room felt a bit small with two children, but we only used it for sleeping or relaxing. We also enjoyed spending time in the hotel and on the terrace, chatting with the owners and petting the dogs or cat, it felt just like home. There's no refrigerator in the room, unfortunately, but there's one in the breakfast room where we could chill drinks and take them to the beach.

The owners were extremely kind, and the location was good. Breakfast was good and varied, with homemade cakes for all tastes. The housekeeping staff were very kind too, and everything was exceptionally clean.
