Residence Villa Firenze

I really liked it, especially the fantastic panoramic view over the city and the surrounding area.

The second night was a disaster. None of our room cards worked, and we were locked out in the middle of the night with no help at all. The emergency number they gave us was useless, it didn't work and nobody answered. After hours stuck outside, we had to sleep in our car. In the morning, nobody would refund us or even offer a late checkout. We'd spent the night in the car, yet had to leave our room at 12:00 PM. We'd been told we could stay as long as necessary, despite there being no refund. We stayed two nights. The hotel was decent and clean, and the rooms were decent too, but this serious incident ruined the whole experience. There was no assistance, professionalism, or care for guests. It's unacceptable for any establishment, especially a hotel. We'll never return, and strongly advise against it. Shame on you!

I spent nine days here over the Christmas holidays and had a truly lovely stay. The service and cleanliness were excellent. The owners were very kind, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

They took my reservation for a short stay, then cancelled it. Not even an apology. Typical Ligurians, as usual!
