Residence Hotel Alba Palace

The apartment hotel was fine, and I’d still recommend it for families since there’s a kitchen and an extra bed. We ended up staying another night, but the next day’s rate was higher than what we’d booked through Booking. I was also charged €15 for breakfast. It was delicious, and I wouldn’t have minded paying, but I wish they’d told us it cost extra. When we were asked about breakfast, I said yes if it was included, otherwise it wasn’t a problem to skip it. We’d booked through Booking because it said reception was open 24 hours, and we expected to arrive around 11 pm. The host called at 10 pm to say reception would be closed and asked if we could come earlier, but that was our arrival time after driving. The hotel was shut when I got there. The host arrived about five minutes later and checked us in quickly. She didn’t speak English, so someone came along to translate.

We had a wonderful week here, and the price for what you get was excellent. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was good too. Our room was nicely furnished, with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. It’s a very nice hotel in a great spot, just a short walk from the beach.

We’re already thinking about coming back next year. The residence staff were professional, helpful, and very respectful, which helped make the stay so pleasant. The property is lovely, well organized, and close to the sea. Our apartment was functional and well furnished, with everything we needed and a large furnished terrace. Bathroom linen was changed every other day, which was very useful. It’s dog-friendly, including the beach resort where the included beach service is provided. The resort is well equipped and welcomes dogs. A supermarket, greengrocer, and butcher are all within walking distance. Everything made for a lovely holiday.

We came for a few days in early August, then booked right away for Ferragosto and will definitely return. The hotel was beautiful, welcoming, and absolutely spotless. The staff were very professional and went out of their way to help with our requests, especially Mr. Piero and Ilaria at reception, and Ms. Annamaria at breakfast. Compliments to the owner!
