The location worked well for us since we usually drove out to nearby wineries and villages, and Alba’s center is only a short walk away. We stayed two nights and found the hotel spotless and clearly well cared for. The room and bed were comfortable, parking was free, and the lobby had plenty of space. Sunday afternoon was very quiet, perhaps because it was low season, but the reception team was welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with cheerful, warm staff. By Monday, there were lots of business travelers around. The place has its own charm and a really welcoming feel.

We booked one of the apartments in the 'Rsidence'. It was roomy and practical, and the location made it easy to walk into downtown Alba. The free parking meant we could leave the car there and enjoy the region's fabulous wine. The staff were a big part of the experience, very friendly, charming, polite, and flexible.

Mario at the front desk found me a salt grinder to mix with hot water when I had a bad cold and had lost my voice. He was sick too, which made the kindness even more memorable. Un grande grazie a Mario! The breakfast team were just as kind, always smiling and ready to help or answer questions. We stayed three nights for the truffle festival, and the room and location were lovely as other reviews have said. I hope we can come back next year.

The breakfast is called continental, though there was definitely more to it than that. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was very pleasant. There’s secure parking beneath the building. It’s only a few minutes on foot to the pedestrian street, with its nice shops and restaurants. A very good place to stay while visiting Alba.
