Stefano and Stefania treated us like friends and were so helpful. We stayed with them at Case di Campo with our two children, and the apartment was cute, spacious, and practical. The garden, outdoor areas, and terrace were wonderful to use in any season, even when the sun had only just come out. They also make excellent olive oil. We’ll definitely be back!

The terrace and the view are the highlights here, and it works well as a stopover. The studio is small, about 2 km inland, and access means taking a narrow path and a few natural stone steps. Inside, it’s neatly furnished, though the kitchen is poorly equipped: with just one fork and two spoons, even a basic meal is awkward to make and eat. The small washing machine is handy, but bring clothespins and a clothesline or something similar. The roller blind doesn’t block the morning sun, which shines straight onto the bed and wakes you around 6 am. Watch the terrace door, too. If it swings open hard or catches the wind, the glass can hit the small fountain. The air conditioning may make an irregular noise; cleaning its filter can help.
