The hospitality is superb, with real attentiveness and, above all, a lot of humanity. You feel at home straight away. The rooms are spacious, with thoughtful details, and there's indoor parking. Right next door, a trattoria serves excellent value food. It's on the seafront and has all the comforts, plus a lovely terrace with loungers, chairs, and tables. There's also a small beach to the side for a swim. A place to come back to again and again to recharge.

The room was beautifully furnished and spotless, with everything we needed close at hand. Our hosts were warm and helpful from the start, and made us feel at home. The walk into town takes about 20 minutes, though it’s easy by bike or car. One thing for light sleepers: Villa Miki is near Essaouira and Les Veles, where loud music can go on until 4 a.m., or during daytime events.
