The location is fantastic, with shops and restaurants close by. Our trulli matched the photos exactly, and the room was clean and spacious, with a sweet private patio where we could enjoy music from a nearby concert. We were also grateful to the staff for helping fix our internet connection so we could get our remote work done. A unique, comfortable place that I highly recommend.

When we arrived, they took us to a different property. The customer service was rude and irresponsible. We stayed in May and paid the rent by card, then were asked to pay the city tax in cash. After we got home, I found they'd charged the city tax too, so we had paid it twice. It was their responsibility to return the money, whatever the amount. Instead of handling the refund properly, they taunted me (see screenshot) for chasing them for two months “just” for 4EUR. Think about it: if they double-charge every tourist and people decide it's only a little money and don't ask for it back, how much extra would they make each year?

Just a few steps from the main square, this is a lovely place with everything included and a real feeling of living in a trullo. The hosts were wonderful and just a message away on WhatsApp. They even let us leave our luggage after checkout. Thanks for the great service and a delightful stay. I'd definitely recommend it.

These owners were unbelievably unprofessional. You may not get what you booked, so be very careful. I had reserved Trulli Antichi Mestieri on Booking.com. On the day before I was due to arrive, the owner sent me the address on WhatsApp: Via duca d'aosta 15. That was different from the address in my reservation, Via monte san gabridle 1, which I'd already saved in Google Maps and was heading toward. The two addresses were different properties that looked completely different. I've traveled for over 30 years and never experienced anything like it. I asked why the address had changed. They ignored me for a while, then sent an ad for the opening of their spa, which costs 100euros. When I asked again, they got aggressive and said, “that is reception, do you want to sleep in reception?” They also charged my credit card, even though my reservation said I should pay at the property. It was very unprofessional. I didn't know what to do, so I stopped on the highway and called Booking.com customer service. I explained everything and said that, although I wasn't comfortable, I would stay if I couldn't get a refund because it was 90.67 euros after all. Booking.com contacted the property and emailed me 45 minutes later to say my reservation had been cancelled for free, without charge, and to find somewhere else. I didn't stay at Trulli Antichi Mestieri. Booking.com told me the refund would arrive within 15 business days. I waited, but then they said the property had refused to refund me. The property has ignored my messages. The whole thing is ridiculous. A property shouldn't be able to do whatever it wants without any ethics. I looked into reviews of Trulli Antichi mestieri on Booking.com. It had a high score, which is why I booked, but I also found low-score comments describing things that weren't handled properly. Basically, they have different properties in different styles and locations, some possibly outside the Trulli historic zone. They assign rooms based on availability, so what you get depends on your luck. I compared lots of places and chose that room based on the pictures. All that effort was wasted, and the experience became a nightmare. We should get what we pay for. Why is that so hard to understand? If they bought a piece of clothing and the seller handed them a different one, would they happily accept it? Would you?
