Lucía thought of everything we might need, and the suite was beautifully appointed, with a kitchen that had everything. The windows block out the light, the parking is private and secure, and the gated garden looks out over trulli roofs. It’s step-free and easy to get around, with a pleasant walk into town. We were welcomed warmly with wine, bread, and cheese, and breakfast was abundant and delicious. The place has all the amenities of a luxury hotel with the warmth and care of a family home. Lucía turned our stay into a 5-star-plus experience. For families, couples, or solo travelers, Il Brigante is a fantastic place to stop and stay. Highly recommend it. Thank you, Lucia!

Mrs. Lucia is such a kind and hospitable woman. She and her husband run this beautiful B&B with love and care, paying attention to the services, tidiness, cleanliness, and what their guests need. I stayed for two nights with two friends, and we had time for a lovely chat. It felt like talking with family. Wonderful! The breakfast was delicious, with homemade or home-grown food. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We’ll be back! I’m only sorry I forgot the cherry tomatoes you picked for us 🥲🥲

Lucia and her husband made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was generous, with both sweet and savory things. The garden inside is gorgeous and clearly well cared for. The apartment has the feel of a little trullo, with a cool, clean, comfortable bedroom, a practical bathroom, and a small kitchen stocked with what you need. The sofa bed was comfortable too. There’s secure private parking, so we didn’t have to unload all our luggage, and Trullo Sovrano is about a five-minute walk away, usually the first stop on the trulli route to Rione Monti. If you’re heading to Salento, Alberobello is a must. We’d happily recommend this B&B.

Lucia gave us such a warm welcome, and breakfast was generous enough that it sometimes carried on into afternoon tea. She’s incredibly kind. The place itself is charming and comfortable, with a handy kitchenette, and the lovely city center is no more than a ten-minute walk away. A really nice stay and discovery.
