BB Da Silvana

The bell tower chimes every quarter hour. If you're sensitive to that, it might bother you, though I didn't mind it and even found it evocative. With all the windows closed and the air conditioning on, the sound is muffled enough that it stops being a disturbance. The room is spacious and has the feel of being inside a trullo, with a shaped ceiling and two alcoves for the double bed and bathroom. The bed is screened by a curtain, which adds to the charm. There’s a sofa by the balcony, a table, and a kitchenette with two burners and supplies for making herbal tea. The bathroom is pleasant, and the fixtures are arranged for good accessibility. The location between the cathedral and the Trullo Sovrano is stunning. There’s a great view of the trulli from the balcony, and the rooftop terrace has a breathtaking panorama.
