Vito welcomed us warmly and gave us plenty of useful information and maps. Our private trullo was spotless, with fresh white towels, a comfortable large bed, a well-stocked kitchen, and everything else we needed. It’s right in the center of Alberobello, about a five-minute walk from the train station and bus stop. Exploring this magical town was unforgettable, and we’ll definitely return.

The apartment was well equipped and very close to the center, and the stairs were slippery, narrow, and low, though I don’t want to make that my complaint. We came to Alberobello for our anniversary expecting the apartment we booked to be a trullo, but found ourselves in a plain house with nothing special about it. On Booking.com, the pictures show a beautiful trullo, yet we and others who reviewed here ended up in an apartment that didn’t feel like a typical trullo in this lovely town. Please be careful when booking. I hope the owner makes it clear where guests will actually stay instead of showing photos of a beautiful trullo and then sending people to a bland apartment.
