It’s an easy walk into town, but far enough from the tourist crowds to feel like a break. The pool was lovely, and the setting was cool and relaxing. It was comfortable and well equipped for children. Our kind host even brought us delicious figs from her trees.

A great self-catering place to come back to after days out enjoying Puglia. It feels like a home away from home.

The welcome was friendly and impeccable, and the location works well for visiting the region. But we were really disappointed and regret booking it. The rent didn’t feel justified, so we spent as much time as possible out exploring. Our trullo was tiny, with a minuscule bathroom and the toilet only a meter from the kitchenette and bedroom. The shower flooded the floor. It was tucked behind a former campervan area. A few meters away, a dog spent most of the day in a large cage, barking constantly. Another trullo was attached to ours; for two days a small dog was locked inside barking nonstop, and we never saw its owner, which was a real shame. There were no breakfast or drink facilities, not even a vending machine. The trullo was only moderately clean, and nobody cleaned during our stay. The sheets and towels weren’t changed, and toilet paper wasn’t replenished.

We had a very pleasant seven-day stay. The property is a bit dated, but it’s looked after and feels welcoming. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the location and amenities were convenient. I’d happily come back.
