Trulli Family

We liked our stay here. It was clean, cozy, and a good pick if you want to try something unusual like a trullo. Once you're inside, it feels quite different, and very safe.

It was a cozier experience than I expected, mostly because it was a lot smaller than I imagined. Still, now I can say I've tried staying in one.

The only thing going for this place was its convenient central location. Our experience was absolutely negative. It was meant to be a trullo, but it really didn't feel like one, and the price was exorbitant for a place that fell short of every expectation. The beds were awful. The mattresses and pillows were hard as rocks, the worst I've ever found, even compared with a hospital. The old-fashioned blankets are almost folklore, but those were something we could overlook. The bathroom was the last straw: no toilet seat, a broken bucket, and no working light by the mirror, so even seeing yourself or putting on makeup was a challenge. There was a hairdryer, but it was unusable without an adapter or a suitable outlet. In the shower, there was hair stuck to the walls, so I gave up on even taking a simple shower. There was also a niche in the wall with a chair behind it and a curtain, perhaps a confessional where I could vent about the disappointment. Breakfast was at a partner café about 300 meters away. We could choose only a hot drink and a croissant. At least the food was decent, and the owner there was kind and helpful. For everything else, I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place, especially if you care about your back. I'm not moving this morning.

The location was good, though parking was 400 meters away. But the room was much smaller than the photos suggested, the bed was pretty hard and short, and breakfast was very limited. Honestly, it wasn't what I expected.
