Trulli Lovely

I never stayed in any of Michele's homes. I was planning to visit Alberobello with my elderly mother for an Italian immersion program and wanted a cute place within walking distance of the school. After I booked through booking.com, I realized my choice wasn't the best and canceled. Michele contacted me almost right away on What's App to offer another location, sent photos and then asked me to send money. I made the mistake of not using a verified site and paid to hold a place for us. My mother got COVID, so we had to cancel, still within his 30 day cancel policy. Michele refused to refund me, saying, and I quote, "I wasted his time." I work in customer service and know it can be challenging; not every client is easy. I learned some of this as I went, and some of it was beyond my control. Sadly, he sees it differently. Don't make my mistake. Use Booking or another online site only. I don't trust him.

The pool and garden were wonderful, a lovely slice of Italy, and our landlord was very friendly and waiting for us when we arrived. The location is beautiful, though it's just outside town, so you definitely need a car, rental or otherwise. The BBQ was included and great, but there weren't any kitchen utensils to use with it. We also hadn't realized the "kitchen" was shared. Traveling with small children was difficult, since they needed to sleep while other guests could sit on the couch.

They gave us a bottle of local wine to enjoy in the trullo garden, and even stocked the kitchenette with local olive oil. The trullo is very close to the center and nicely detailed. Thanks for the hospitality and tips. Silvia and Fabio

A lovely spot to unwind and switch off from everything. The rooms and outdoor areas are cared for down to the details, and the swimming pool is very large and perfectly clean.
