We loved the quiet, secluded feel, though the main tourist area is only a 15-minute walk away and there’s a grocery shop around the corner. We stayed in low season, and the well-kept property felt like a peaceful retreat in nature. The place is spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a kitchen reasonably well stocked with crockery, cooking gear, oil, and spices for basic meals. Finding homemade jam in the fridge was a nice touch. Francesco clearly puts a lot of effort into keeping it in good shape as a cosy home for guests. He answered our questions quickly and was flexible with our requests. We only had two days and wished we could stay longer. We’d consider Trulli Paparale again as a base for future road trips around Puglia.

We went into town on foot from the beautiful accommodations, and later drove about 30 minutes to Puglia’s beaches, where we explored coves and the kids enjoyed looking for sea life. The town itself is picturesque, with wonderful shops and restaurants. We stayed last June with our two children, and the clean, spacious Trulli had stunning grounds and a pool. There are only a few Trullis on the property, so it felt private, and sometimes we had the pool to ourselves. We’re eager to return.

The grounds are lovely, and the pool is great. Francesco also gives tips on everything. We spent eight nights in this beautiful trullo, which was very clean and well equipped, and getting there was completely straightforward. We’ll be back! Tobi and Hanna

We’re back for our third stay at Trulo Paparale. The location and authentic Trulli are what we love, and the pool area and garden are awesome. Highly recommend it.
