Trulli Resort Monte Pasubio

Signore Mariano was a wonderful host, gentillissimo, and the Trullo had everything we needed for our five-night stay. The location is excellent, quiet enough to relax but close to everything. Grazie per tutto! ☆☆☆☆☆

I loved this cute B&B. It was surprisingly cool inside the trulli houses, and I felt like a hobbit. The washroom is small, which is part of their charm. I'm not tall, so the size worked perfectly for me, though I can imagine it being tricky for someone taller.

Mariano gave us a wonderful personal welcome and shared loads about the history of the Trulli, the house, and daily life there. He also pointed us toward Alberobello's sights, places to visit, and restaurants, and told us a lot about Puglia too. The house was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. It really did feel like our own home, just as Mariano said. A real Trulli house experience. Thanks so much!

Being right among all the trullis made it an ideal base for seeing the area. We visited on our honeymoon in 2011, and it felt magical. I highly recommend staying overnight to get the full experience: have dinner at one of the trulli restaurants, then walk and shop around town. Just coming for the day misses a lot. Our stay had two problems, and I hope they've been fixed since. It was late November and very cold at night, with not enough heat. We'd read about the cold and brought a sleeping bag, but that wasn't enough. The electricity also went out during the night, leaving the room pitch dark and making it very hard to find our way around, especially to the toilet. If those issues are still there, I hope the owners will address them.
