Trulli is a beautiful place, but the access road isn’t finished. It’s quite dangerous to walk along, especially at night because there are no lights. Don’t bring a good car.

We had a lovely two-night family stay at the Trulli Resort in Alberobello. You sleep in a real trullo, and both units are meticulously maintained. There’s no permanent staff, which gives you plenty of peace and privacy, almost like having the trullo to yourselves. Breakfast is included and traditional, with coffee and local pastries, though we could have done with a few more croissants or brioches. One thing to know: the website mentions a “gym,” but it’s not at the resort. It’s about a 15-minute walk away and costs extra, which felt a bit misleading. A great fit for an authentic stay in the heart of Puglia.

We stayed as two adults with children aged 7 and 2 in the Hermes suite. At 30 m2, it felt a little small, so we’d suggest the Zeus suite if it’s available. The quality for the price is excellent for the services provided. The property is a five-minute walk from the center and has exclusive on-site parking. There’s an infinity pool, a garden gazebo for breakfast, aperitifs, and dinner, comfortable mattresses, and an emotional shower. Sleeping in a trullo is already an experience, and the thoughtful attention to every detail made this a peaceful oasis.
