Ilenia was a really helpful host and shared some great local tips. The house has a lovely authentic feel, a historic stone building with a cool courtyard and arches. Our room was modern and very clean, a nice contrast with the old place. We stayed for a few days and loved it. A great base if you want to see the real Lake Como.

Getting engaged here was one of the best parts of our trip. I proposed to my girlfriend during our stay, and Ilenia did everything she could to make it special. I’d given her very little notice because I’d just proposed and had no idea where to eat, but she still made us dinner. She decorated the room with rose pedals and Prosecco just as I’d asked, and was the nicest host I’ve ever booked with. The room was perfect for the night. Breakfast was included, and the homemade croissants were perfect. Parking was fine: although other reviews mention time limits, I left the car in the lot overnight without a problem. It’s only a two minute walk away. Thank you so much for making our stay and engagement so special. Thanks from Virginia, USA! ❤️

The building is a little out of the way, but the great bus connection made that no issue at all. We had a lovely stay, and Ilenia looked after us really well and gave us great tips for Como. The garden behind the building was a lovely spot to unwind in the evenings. Most of the breakfast is freshly prepared in-house, and some of the ingredients even come from their own garden.
