The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and spotless, and don't skip the morning cold plunge. This was my second stay at La Fornace, a few days to recharge each time: last year with my son, this year with a friend. Matteo was generous and gracious, attentive without hovering, and always had a good suggestion for somewhere to eat or visit. We had a great time both trips.

The apartment had distinctive furnishings and decor, with so much care put into the atmosphere. Our host made us feel welcome and took care of everything we asked for. We had a great stay and would happily come back to the region.

A lovely spot to unwind, with cozy rooms and a beautiful setting. The host was warm and welcoming. Ask about nearby places for local wine tastings, and give the cold plunge a try if you're up for it.

There’s a little forest just around the corner, and plenty of lush greenery around the house. The Fornace also has a charming history. The owners were welcoming and happy to help us plan a lovely tour through the region’s food and wine. It’s a very quiet, relaxing place.

We were given a spacious multi-bedroom suite with AC, Fire TV, mosquito nets, and other well-equipped comforts. The property is large and has an interesting past. The owner has a good sense of humor and speaks English fluently. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, though that’s a small quibble. Hope to return soon.
