Rosanna’s homemade breakfast cakes were such a treat, and the property was very clean with care given to every detail. Enzo and Rosanna welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. My husband especially appreciated the lovely conversation with Enzo. Highly recommended.

We’ve been home for just one day and already miss the Salento sea, especially Tenuta Donnamella in Alessano (LE). It’s peaceful and surrounded by greenery, and our room was very clean. Rosanna and Enzo welcomed us like family, always warm and smiling, and their hospitality was impeccable. Rosanna made us a generous breakfast each morning: cappuccino, proper homemade desserts prepared the night before or that morning, fruit from their garden like figs, grapes, apricots, and prickly pears, plus homemade jam. On our second day, they insisted we have lunch with them. We had homemade pasta, grilled sausage, and local wine that Enzo wanted us to taste. He knows his wine and told us where it came from, its alcohol content, and more. And a special thank you to Lorenzo, our five-year-old nephew, whose acrobatic games on the walnut tree made the day even more fun. Thank you, Rosanna and Enzo. We’ll definitely be back.
